In spite of negative reviews across the media, Kalabhavan Mani's new movie ‘Black Stallion’ has managed to touch the winning line. This film is expected to recover the investment through effective marketing and tapping non-theatre business potentials.

With plenty of skin show from Namitha, the movie was made simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu in a short period. With very few dialogues for its characters and by setting up the story in Kerala-Tamil Nadu, the movie directors Pramod-Pappan was able to easily complete its schedules without any difficulties.

The movie which was shot with less expensive HD cameras with less light units and crew was made in a budget of 2.85 crores. As the movie has already opened to encouraging initials in Kerala the producers are also planning dubbed versions in Hindi and Bhojpuri.
